Charles Clinton Moseley
Sulphur- Charles Clinton "Charlie" Moseley, 89, died Tuesday, October 24, 2017, in his residence.
He was a native of Alto, Texas and had been a resident of Sulphur for the last 50 years. Charlie retired in 1984 after 37 years of service as Transportation Director with Conoco. After his retirement, he worked at the Aluminum Recycling Center which he and his wife founded in 1979, and served as President. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his sons, Michael Moseley and wife, Cindy of Camden, Arkansas, Mark Moseley and wife, Denice of Lynn Haven, Florida, and Scott Moseley and wife, Christine of Sulphur; his grandchildren, Hannah Moseley, Chris Moseley, Jeff Moseley, Macy Moseley Boudain, and Clint Moseley; and great-grandchildren, Carter Moseley and Colbie Moseley. He is preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Moseley; and his siblings, Harding Crawford "HC" Moseley and Reba Hoot.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 28, in Old Palestine Cemetery in Alto, Texas. Visitation is from 5-7:30 p.m. Friday in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to The Alzheimer's Association, 3445 N. Causeway Blvd, Suite 902, Metairie, LA 70002.
