Funeral services for Dimple J. Taylor, 86, of Alto Texas will be Thursday Nov. 16th at 10am at the O.T. Allen & Son funeral home chapel. Visitation will be held on Wednesday Nov. 15th, from 6-8pm also at the funeral home. Bro. Jim Goforth will officiate. Burial to follow at Lynches Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Taylor went to be with her Lord on Monday in Nacogdoches. She was born April 15th, 1931 in Maydelle, Texas to George E. and Bonnie Watts Burrows.
Dimple enjoyed gardening and raised beautiful flower & vegetable gardens. She participated in the Central High Home Demonstration Club with her school classmates. She was an exceptional cook and loved to share her food and have fellowship with both her family and her church. She was a long-time member of Campground Baptist Church. She loved her brothers, children, grandchildren, and the rest of her extended family with all of her being. She was a caretaker of others until the very end of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband Aubrey Taylor, parents, brother George C. Burrows and son-in-law Bobby Tucker. She is survived by her Sons and Daughters in law Roger and Pam Taylor of Alto, Texas, Danny and Lavinia Taylor of Grapeland, Texas; Daughter Galenda Tucker of Palestine, Texas; Brothers Billy Burrows, Bobby Burrows, Jackie Burrows, and Jerry Burrows. She has 7 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
