Mosey Lamb 63, departed to his heavenly home on October 5, 2018 after a valiant battle with health issues. His devotion to his family and firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.
Mosey was born to the late Joe and Pearlie Mae Lamb in Alto, Texas. He was the second born twin of 9 children. Mosey accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age at Weeping Mary Baptist Church. He later united with Brentwood Baptist Church in Houston, Texas.
Mosey graduated from Alto High School in 1974 and after graduation he enlisted in the United States Army. This brought him to live in North Caroline, California and Alaska. After honorable discharge, Mosey moved to Houston, Texas where he resided.
Mosey loved outdoors, especially fishing for salmon and hunting wild game in Alaska. He worked various jobs with the Houston Post, Dresser Industries and later began working for the United States Postal Service where he retired after 32 years of service.
Mosey was preceded in death by his Parents Joe and Pearlie Mae Lamb, twin brother Hosey Lamb, brothers, Henry Ervin, Vernice Ervin, and Sam Guy, and Dorothy Jean Taylor, and Niece, Sonya “Cookie” Taylor Stewart.
To cherish his precious memories, his Loving Wife of 20 years, Selena Lamb of Houston, Texas; Daughters: Molesha Lamb and Brooklyn Guillory both of Houston, Texas; Sister: Hazel Lamb-Whitten, Houston, Texas; Brothers: JD Lamb (Kim) of Petersburg, Virginia and Ralph Lamb (Sarah) of Australia; Aunts: Odean Easley of Alto, Texas and Mary Jo McKaney of Eloy, Arizona; He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
