Dorothy Nell (Reynolds) Pegues

No service is scheduled for Dorothy Nell Pegues, 74, of Alto. Dorothy passed away Thursday, May 5, in Alto. She was born February 3, 1948 in Jacksonville, Texas to William Reynolds and Beatrice Wortham Reynolds. Dorothy had lived in Alto for the last 40 years and was a member of the Corinth Baptist church in Jacksonville. She had also lived in Rusk for a few years and was retired from the Rusk State Hospital. Dorothy had operated a house cleaning service for about 10 years after retiring and loved her rose bush’s and flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jimmy Pegues, sisters Pat Walker, Joyce Dolby and Shirley Reynolds, brother William Reynolds and grandson Justin Pegues. She is survived by sons Bobby Jones, Randy Jones and Shane Jones of Alto, daughter Kaila Parish of Jacksonville, brother David Reynolds of Jacksonville, sister Gene Sweatt of Rusk and grandchildren Christopher Jones, Ashley Jones, Brandon Jones, Cody Jones, Randa Bugaiski and Jacob Pegues.
